Fjord was inspired by my recent journey through Norway and the lasting impression its landscape left on me. There was a quiet magic to the country — a sense of calm, openness and timelessness that stayed with me long after I returned home.
Rather than depicting a specific place, Fjord translates that experience into simplified forms, colour and light. I recall the colours of the stone, the lushness of the grass, the structure of the landscape itself, and the feeling of standing within it. Nature becomes a space for quiet contemplation, where memory and atmosphere take precedence over representation.
