Iridárium
Iridárium is an intimate dialogue between the landscape and the inner world of its observer. Inspired by irises—flowers long associated with transience, transformation, and quiet sensitivity—the painting reflects on the delicate beauty of moments that cannot be held.

At its center, a cascading stream of water becomes a symbol of both stillness and constant movement, embodying the continuous flow of life. Hidden within the composition is the silhouette of a figure seen from behind: a silent witness who chooses not to disturb the perfection of the moment. Instead, the figure gradually dissolves into the landscape, becoming both part of it and almost invisible within it.
Created with layers of acrylic and oil pastel, the painting combines expressive textures with intuitive gestures, allowing emotion to emerge naturally through the surface. Rather than depicting a specific place, Iridárium invites the viewer into a space where memory, imagination, and nature quietly intertwine.
Exhibition
Iridárium was selected for Letní Salon Mánes Vol. 2, a group exhibition at the renowned Mánes Gallery in Prague. The painting is on public view there from 5 August to 12 September 2026 before returning to the studio.
